Set in the heart of Doone Valley it is a perfect holiday destination. Perfect base for families, children, couples, walkers and riders. When taking a holiday in the Doone Valley you can expect to wake up to ponies, red deer, herons, buzzards and beautiful scenery in Exmoor Devon. Visit Exmoor to revisit the Lorna Doone legends which make up this lovely part of the countryside. Local towns like Porlock and Lynton and Lynmouth are close to visit and explore. The superb scenery of local Somerset and Devon villages, coastlines and beaches, still unspoilt, undiscovered and uncrowded. Kingfishers is a wonderfully spacious, comfortable, high quality, single floor accommodation situated over the crafts shop overlooking the packhorse bridge and ford. It can comfortably sleep up to 10 people. Steps from the parking area go up to the front door from where a hallway leads into this extensive accommodation. The large fitted kitchen has its own dining area with table to seat 8 and includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The spacious sitting room has comfortable sofas, armchairs, TV, video and a table and chairs to seat up to 14 people. There are five bedrooms - three doubles with double beds (one of which is a four-poster), and two twin rooms with single beds. There are two bathrooms both with bath, basin and WC and one with separate shower.
